“Curating my clients’ branding and online presence may involve a lot of managing and marketing tasks, but generally, they allow me to perform those little artworks I know: working with photos and graphics, and coming up with some catchy captions to go with them. It’s a venue to stretch my creative skills. ”
Phew! I’m finally done with all the posts I have to do today, and that gives me something to smile about.
Another thing I love about being a Virtual Assistant: I can unleash my creativity and I get paid for doing so! Creativity knows no bounds and being a Virtual Assistant is just one of those ways to play with it and let it go. Among the daily tasks I do for my clients, being creative with their posts, pages and contents is more like a personal venture for me. I am your VA Alyssa and I love to be creative.

Curating my clients’ branding and online presence may involve a lot of managing and marketing tasks, but generally, they allow me to perform those little artworks I know: working with photos and graphics and coming up with some catchy captions to go with them. It’s a venue to stretch my creative skills.

Thanks to social media platforms, our generation has learned of tools that put our creativity to work. And I know each VA has his or her favorite ones. Many of my clients simply got little time to learn to use these tools and prepare their content for posting, and so I gladly lift those tasks off their plates! I have done some works with several websites already and I just feel accomplished to see some of my jobs posted on these platforms. I do the best I can to influence the world even with these little things that I get to do for their businesses.

The thing really for a business is making those posts or pages for several social media platforms. And this happens to be quite a recurring job. A post should also be specific to each platform. Why? Because they each require certain types of content to encourage traffic. A post on Facebook may not be the one you would use for Instagram or Pinterest. And a post on Instagram may need to say more with photos and graphics. And we need traffic for your business on all these platforms! Your call-to-actions are embedded in these specific contents, and you rely heavily on these for your target market to respond towards your business. And think about doing this task almost EVERY DAY! Whoah! I better get my ideas free-flowing, right?

Of course, it all starts with understanding the people and communities that my clients want to connect with. That’s a challenge for creativity. Will you really be able to do your thing when you have other considerations? It’s a marketing strategy for someone’s brand and not simply my self-expression. Is the job limiting? Well, I’m a virtual assistant and I look at it from a positive angle. The job is actually just another way to create things I may not have thought of before. And I love being creative. Working with my clients has enabled me to do just that, to learn more and be an influencer in my own VA kind of way.
